Andrés García Lamparte is a PhD. forest engineer who is working as a researcher at the Land Laboratory of the USC. His main research topic is urban growth dynamics and land use change.

He has participated in the consortium which has developed the green infrastructure strategy of the region of Galicia (Spain) and is currently working in a project funded by the Spanish National Government aimed at developing methodologies to map green inrastructure. He has also organised several student workshops and a stakeholders meeting with the aim to provide ideas to Lugo municipality on green solutions to the city challenges.
